Lattice is a local app. Your workspace, notes, terminals, files, browsing and messages stay on your Mac. We do not collect analytics or read your work. This page lists the little that does reach us, and why.
What we keep
| What | Why | When |
|---|---|---|
| Your email | To send your beta licence key. Nothing else unless you write to us | When you join the beta |
| A fingerprint of your licence key | To recognise the key when you activate. We cannot recover the key from it | When a key is issued |
| A device fingerprint and your Mac's name | To count the Macs a key is active on (up to three). The fingerprint is a one-way hash, not your serial number | When you activate, and at the app's periodic licence check (about weekly) |
| Feedback you send, and diagnostics if you include them | To fix problems. Diagnostics hold versions and settings, never your files or messages | Only when you press Send |
What we never collect
Your files, terminal output, browsing, Messages conversations, contacts, camera images, or anything you type in Lattice. Claude Code and Codex talk to their own services directly under your accounts; Lattice does not relay or record them.
Where it lives
In a database hosted by Supabase (Sydney region) and, if email delivery is set up, the email provider that sends your key. Updates are downloaded from the same hosting.
Your choices
Ask us through the feedback form to see or delete your data. Deleting it turns off your licence. You can deactivate a Mac at any time in Lattice Settings.
