Beta terms
Last updated 12 October 2026
These terms cover the free public beta of Lattice, the macOS workspace made by LM Corporations. By installing or using the beta you agree to them.
The beta licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the beta on up to three Macs you own or control, for as long as your beta licence key is active. The beta is free. You may not resell it, share your key publicly, or try to get around the licence check.
It is a beta
Lattice is still being built. It may have bugs, change, or lose features, and the beta can end. Keep backups of anything important. The app saves your workspace locally and keeps backups of it, and you can export it from Settings at any time.
Your tools, your accounts
Lattice runs programs you install, such as your shell, Claude Code and Codex, under your own accounts and their own terms. Lattice does not provide those services and is not responsible for what they do or cost.
Ending a licence
We may turn off a licence that is misused. When the beta or your licence ends, your workspace stays on your Mac and you can still export it.
No warranty
The beta is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data, arising from using the beta. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms for later versions of the beta and will show the date of the latest change above.
